This cable is used to supply external power to your PowerFLARM Portable unit from an external power source such as your glider's main battery*.    See your manual for details.

The cable is made with 4 feet of red and black 22 gauge aviation-grade Tefzel wires with heat shrink protection.  Complete with the seemingly difficult to find properly sized barrel power plug.  The rear of your Power FLARM Portable unit has the matching power jack for this plug.

* Important excerpt per the PowerFLARM Portable manual "Ensure any external power source is only connected if only rechargeable batteries (or no batteries) are in the device. External power might damage non-rechargeable batteries (risk of leakage)."   I suggest using rechargeable batteries just in case of the lost of external battery power and the loss of the GPS flight log file.
