This cable is used to supply power to your PowerFLARM Portable unit from an external power source such as your glider's main battery*.  The rear of your Power FLARM Portable unit has the matching power jack for this cable.  See your manual for details.

The cable comes with the correctly sized, but seemingly difficult to find, barrel power plug along with 4 feet of red and black 22 gauge aviation grade Tefzel wires plus heat shrink protection. 

Optional: Longer lengths of cabling (per foot), a right angle power plug, and/or a ferrite core, are each available at an additional charge of $2 each.

* Important excerpt from the PowerFLARM Portable manual "Ensure any external power source is only connected if only rechargeable batteries (or no batteries) are in the device. External power might damage non-rechargeable batteries (risk of leakage)."   I suggest using rechargeable batteries just in case of the lost of external battery power.
